ICGEB in the news

Fellowship opportunities for the Global South, burgeoning partnerships across Italy, Africa, and South America, and recent, breaking research in structural biology from India. We present the video on "COVID19: Establishing rapid laboratory diagnostics programs in LMICs"- an ICGEB-coordinated project implemented in partnership with reference testing laboratories in Africa.

From the Director-General
The world continues to battle the pandemic, and with us witnessing improvements for our colleagues in India but a very concerning deterioration in South Africa, we continue to remember the critical role science is playing in overcoming the current crisis. Fellowship Programmes and partnerships are progressing, important projects are coming to fruition across Africa with the support of New England Biolabs and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Through our research, we continue to work for Sustainable Development.
