The ICGEB eNewsletter is published bimonthly. We open this year by reporting an exciting discovery in science from the Cardiovascular Biology lab, new training and grant opportunities, Open Access resources, and updates on Governance.

From the Director-General
Reverting, with regret, to remote seasonal greetings, in December 2021 I delivered my best wishes for the future to the ICGEB community. Our goal as we enter 2022 is to be able to use our science and resources to make the world a better place as we all hope for a brighter and happier year ahead.

Operational Agreement with South Africa
During the 7th annual Science Forum South Africa SFSA, ICGEB and the Government of South Africa signed the Agreement supporting the Cape Town activities for the 2021-2025 work programme
